Located close to the Skills Area, the orange bike park-graded North Shore area is one of the most extensive and impressive in Scotland - it should be on every North Shore enthusiast's to do list! The timber trails were built in conjunction with the Newcastleton Trail Warriors (volunteer trailbuilding group) and are strictly for those with nerves of steel - and the bike handling skills to match. The qualifierSplitting off the Red Route at the start of the Hidden Valley section, the area is accessed via the Qualifier feature.
Great sessioning! Here, there are several different lines of timber trail to take, from narrow log 'skinnies' to wider, more flowing sections with cambered turns, jumps and drops - great for 'sessioning'. The area finishes with a rooty chute towards a final raised timber bridge which brings you out at the start of the second part of the Hidden Valley singletrack on the Red Route.
