This is a short trail that starts from the carpark to the viewing area to see the Red Deer in a semi natural habitat

How to get there:

Red Deer Range Trail can be started from Red Deer Range carpark in Clatteringshaws which is part of Galloway Forest Park. Newton Stewart is the nearest town or village.

From Newton Stewart:, Take the A712 signposted New Galloway and follow this road for approx. 8 miles., From New Galloway:, Take the A712 signposted Newton Stewart and foolow this road for apprx. 8 miles.
