About Kennick Burn Yellow
This pleasant short trail follows the Kennick burn for a short distance before turning of into the mixed woodland. The trail then follows a grassy forest road before continuing along the course of the Kennick burn.
How to get there:
Kennick Burn Yellow can be started from Laurieston - Kennick Burn in Galloway Forest Park. Laurieston is the nearest town or village.
From Newton Stewart:
Take the A712 signposted New Galloway. At new Galloway turn right onto the A762 signposted Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. At Laurieston turn right onto the B795 Gatehouse of Fleet road and the Kennick burn trails are about two miles up the road.
