(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Moyle Hill Trail

The blue-graded Moyle Hill route is a good introduction to riding 7stanes singletrack - and to the granite rock that that gives Dalbeattie a character all of its own - offering some cracking views and fun riding.

For full details of the Moyle Hill Trail, including a trail map, see the 7stanes website.

How to get there:

Moyle Hill Trail can be started from Richorn Car Park in Dalbeattie Forest which is part of Forests of the Solway Coast. Dalbeattie and Colvend are the nearest towns or villages.

Leave Dalbeattie on the A710, heading south towards Colvend. All forest walks start from the 'Town Wood' car park (which is the first car park on the left).

All bike trails start from the 'Richorn Trailhead' (which is the second car park on the left).

The nearest train station is in Dumfries.
