Glen Trail

About Glen Trail

The Glen Trail starts and finishes at the Ponds, but explores a little further up the glen.

Marvel at the magnificant Douglas Fir trees which are nearly 100 years old and stand over 100 feet tall. Some are now sailing the high seas as masts on tall ships.

How to get there:

Glen Trail can be started from Red Squirrel Car Park in Glentress Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.

The car park is one and a half miles east of Peebles on the A72

Follow the signs to the Red Squirrel car park.
