About Bull Crag

From Hexham follow the signs towards Bellingham then Kielder Water, from here Bullcrag is signposted off the C200. From Newcastleton follow the brown tourist signs for Kielder village and Forest. Wooded peninsula with forest road giving access to parking/picnic areas.

How to get there:

Bull Crag is in Kielder which is part of Kielder. Kielder, Bellingham, Hexham, Newcastle, Jedburgh, and Hawick are the nearest towns or villages.

North west of Bellingham following signs to Kielder Water and Forest Park to Kielder dam,then right turn off the C200 after 4 miles

Walking The Lakeside Way can be accessed from here which offers walking along the shoreline.

Cycling The Lakeside Way can be accessed from here which offers the opportunity to cycle around the Lake.
Fishing Fishing permits and more details can be obtained from Kielder Castle.
Wildlife Activities Views of Birds of Prey are frequent around the Reservoir. Deer can also be spotted early in the morning.
Barbecue Some of our picnic benches have a barbecue rack
Picnic Bull Crag offers two picnic areas.
View Point Splendid views can be seen of Kielder Water from Bull Crag Picnic site.
