The walking trails here start from this car park, situated just off the B795. Please be careful when crossing the road.

How to get there:

Laurieston - Kennick Burn is in Galloway Forest Park. Laurieston is the nearest town or village.

From Newton Stewart:

Take the A712 signposted New Galloway. At new Galloway turn right onto the A762 signposted Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. At Laurieston turn right onto the B795 Gatehouse of Fleet road and the Kennick burn trails are about two miles up the road.

We walked this with our young children (5 and 2) and they loved it - plenty to interest them and not too long. The burn itself is stunning
