Recreation at Craigieburn Forest
Spreading up the valley side from Moffat Water, Craigieburn Forest offers a choice of two walks. The short walk climbs up to a viewpoint where vistas unfold towards the town of Moffat, famous for its wool and toffee. For the keen walker, the path splits and offers the choice of a longer route up the hill.

Craigieburn Forest is part of Forests of the Southern Uplands. Moffat is the nearest town or village.
Follow the A708, Moffat to Selkirk road. The car park is signposted 3 miles out of Moffat. The nearest train station is in Lockerbie.
